For over forty years we have specialised in the publication of books for and about the Caribbean in all subjects and at all levels, from infant to tertiary education and a wide range of titles of general interest.
Macmillan Caribbean is an imprint of Macmillan Publishers Limited. Founded in 1843, Macmillan is one of the largest publishing houses in the UK producing around 1400 titles a year. We have offices in London, Basingstoke and Oxford with associated companies throughout the world.
In 1995, Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck, a major German publisher, acquired a majority stake in the Macmillan Group. Recent acquisitions by Macmillan include Boxtree, the successful media tie-in publisher and, in 1998, the Heinemann English Language Teaching list.
While Macmillan Caribbean enjoys all the advantages of a large international company, the strength of the Caribbean imprint has always been its focus. We have a small UK based team and a network of local agents, representatives and key stockists throughout the Caribbean.
