You Can Lead a Horse to Water and Other Plays is the second of the Gayelle collections of plays in the Macmillan Caribbean Writers series (MCW). These collections feature popular Caribbean plays with outstanding track records in regional Arts and Drama Festivals, together with the less widely known and newer plays that have the potential to become Festival favourites.

The first collection, Champions of the Gayelle, includes Alwin Bully's Dominican comedy Good Morning, Miss Millie, Duelling Voices by Zeno Obi Constance of Trinidad, and The Rapist, by Jamaica's Pat Crumper. This collection introduces You Can Lead a Horse to Water by Winston Saunders of the Bahamas, Dog by Jamaica's Dennis Scott, and a Trinidadian play which has been screened around the Caribbean, Godfrey Sealey's One of Our Sons is Missing.
